Susan has served in children’s ministry for over 30 years, carrying a deep passion to see children walk in the fullness of who they are in Christ. Her heart is to raise up a generation of kids who encounter the presence of Jesus, know His voice and are grounded in their identity and relationship with God.

Through decades of ministry in the local church, Susan has partnered closely with families and leaders to help children grow spiritually and develop leadership skills that impacts the world around them. Susan has had the privilege of serving children and families in Minnesota, California, and now North Carolina, where she currently lives and continues to invest in the local church and Next Gen Ministry. Her experience across different church cultures and communities has shaped her heart to train, support, and encourage kids leaders with practical tools and Spirit-led resources.

As the founder of Emerging Kids Leaders, Susan creates curriculum, training, and resources designed to come alongside Kids Ministry leaders and families—helping children grow in their faith and character all while living from a place of victory.

Beyond ministry, Susan enjoys spending time outdoors, doing voice-over work, reading a good book, and traveling.
